We're a small shop and we keep it simple. Here's exactly what we do — and what we don't — so you're never making a wasted trip.

What We Do

Retail Gear Sales

Hunting, fishing, survival, hiking, camping, and mining gear. If we stock it, it's on the shelf.

Ammunition Sales

Licensed ammunition vendor. We carry a range of calibers for hunting and sport shooting.

FFL Firearm Transfers

Standard dealer-to-dealer transfers and private party transfers (PPT). See our FFL Services page for fees and requirements.

Fishing Tackle & Combos

Casting combos, trolling combos, kokanee gear, and tackle suited for Plumas County lakes and streams. We also carry an assortment of regional flies and do our best to keep the shelves stocked with local favorites.

Local Knowledge

We've been in Northeast California since 1848. Ask us about conditions, seasons, and what gear actually works here.

What We Don't Do

We'd rather tell you upfront than have you drive to Quincy for nothing.

Gunsmithing or Repairs

We do not service, repair, or modify firearms. Please contact a licensed gunsmith for that work.

Consignment Sales

We do not sell firearms or gear on consignment.

Layaway

All purchases are paid in full at the time of sale. We do not hold items on layaway.

Pawn or Buy Used Guns

We are not a pawn shop and do not purchase used firearms.

Trades

We do not accept trades on firearms or gear.

Class III / NFA Items

We do not deal in suppressors, short-barreled rifles, machine guns, or other NFA-regulated items.

Special Orders

We do not place special orders for items not currently in stock.

Online Sales or Firearm Shipping

We are a walk-in retail store. We do not sell online or ship firearms.
